Ｂ級映画専門のモノグラム社が1930年代に作った子供向けの劇場用シリーズ「アワー・ギャング・コメディ"Our Gang Comedies" 」を再編集してテレビ用番組としたドタバタコメディ。

日本で放送された時には、アルファルファ役のカール・スウィッツァーはすでに31歳で亡くなっていた
